Flight booking whitelabel solution
Flight booking whitelabel: your branded flight booking website, ready to sell
A flight booking whitelabel is a complete flight search and booking website that we brand for your agency, connect to your suppliers and launch on your domain. Travellers search, compare fares, pay through your gateway and receive e-tickets with your name on them, while you control markups and bookings from an admin panel. It is built for agencies, consolidators and call centres that want to sell flights online without building a booking engine from scratch.

What is a white label flight booking solution?
A white label flight booking solution is a ready-made flight booking website that a technology vendor operates for many agencies, each under its own brand. The search engine, booking flow, ticketing logic and admin panel are shared and maintained centrally; the domain, design, supplier credentials, markups and payment gateway are yours. The spelling varies, whitelabel or white label, but the idea is the same: you get a working booking website in weeks instead of a development project that runs for months.
It is the flights module of our white label travel portal, offered on its own because flights are where most Indian agencies start, and where most of their revenue sits. You can add hotels, buses and insurance later on the same platform.
Who buys a flight booking whitelabel
- Offline and phone-based agencies that want customers to book online at any hour, with the agency still earning the margin
- Consolidators who want a consumer brand, or a sub-agent portal, without exposing their own systems
- Call centres running flight campaigns that need a booking step behind the landing page, see our flight campaign website service
- Diaspora and niche agencies serving routes between India and the US, Canada or the UK, where a branded site builds repeat business
What you get
Branded search and booking flow
One-way, round-trip and multi-city search, calendar fares, filters by stops, airline, time and price, passenger details, seat and baggage add-ons, and a review page before payment. Your logo, colours and domain throughout.
Fare rules and policies
Fare rules pulled from the supplier and shown before payment, with change and cancellation terms, baggage allowance and your own service fee disclosure.
Payment gateway
Your merchant account on a gateway of your choice, with cards, UPI, net banking, wallets and EMI where the gateway supports them. Money settles to your bank, not ours.
Markup control
Markups and service fees by route, airline, cabin, fare type, supplier or customer group, as a percentage or fixed amount, plus promo codes and convenience fees.
Admin panel
Booking queue with PNR details, ticketing status, reissue and refund handling, customer records, staff roles, ledgers and sales, margin and supplier reports.
Branded e-tickets and notifications
E-tickets, invoices and booking emails or SMS carry your business name, address and support contact.
Inventory options: where the fares come from
A whitelabel is only a shell until inventory is connected. We connect it to the suppliers you have agreements with, using your credentials, and our integration experience covers each of the common sources:
| Source | What it gives you | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) | Full-service carriers worldwide, published and private fares, PNR control, queues | Requires your own GDS contract or a host agency; ticketing through BSP or a consolidator. See GDS integration |
| Indian consolidator APIs (TBO, Tripjack and similar) | Domestic and international fares with ticketing handled by the consolidator, prepaid wallet settlement | Fastest route to live fares for agencies without their own accreditation |
| LCC direct connects | Low-cost carrier fares, ancillaries and seat maps straight from the airline | Separate credentials per airline; often reached through a consolidator instead |
| NDC | Airline-direct content including fares and bundles not distributed through the GDS | Availability depends on the airline and your aggregator or GDS NDC access |
Most clients run one consolidator plus a GDS or a second consolidator so that a search can fall back when one source fails. The technical side, including caching, error handling and certification, is covered under flight API integration.
Supplier names describe integration experience only. They are trademarks of their owners and do not imply partnership or endorsement. Supplier access requires your own commercial agreement with each provider.
Markup, commission and settlement: how you earn
Income on a white label flight booking website comes from three places, and the admin panel lets you use any combination. First, a markup added to the supplier's net fare, shown to the traveller as part of the price. Second, a service or convenience fee, shown as a separate line, which is common on international tickets and on change or cancellation handling. Third, whatever commission or incentive your supplier pays you under your own contract, which the portal reports but does not set.
Settlement follows your supplier terms. With a consolidator you usually prepay a wallet and each ticket is deducted at net fare, so the traveller's payment covers net fare plus your margin. With a GDS and BSP, ticket costs are billed in the BSP cycle while you hold the customer's payment. Either way, the portal keeps a ledger per supplier and per booking, and can feed our travel ERP software if you need full accounting.
Whitelabel or a custom flight booking engine?
A whitelabel gives you a proven booking flow that already handles schedule changes, duplicate PNR checks and partial refunds. You trade some flexibility for speed, lower cost and a platform that improves without your own development budget. A custom flight booking engine is the right call when you need a flow nobody else has, want to own the code, or plan to plug flights into a larger custom system. We build both and will say which fits before you spend anything.
Adding hotels, buses and insurance later
Because the flight whitelabel is one module of a larger platform, adding products is a configuration change plus a supplier connection, not a rebuild. A white label hotel booking website shares the same customer accounts, gateway and admin panel; buses and travel insurance follow the same pattern. Many agencies add insurance first, since it attaches to the flight checkout and lifts margin per booking.
Setup timeline and what we need from you
Scope and quote
We agree on markets, suppliers, gateway and B2C or B2B mode, then send a fixed written quote.
Supplier credentials
You obtain API access from your consolidator, GDS or airline. Test credentials first, production after certification.
Payment gateway and KYC
You open or connect a merchant account; the gateway completes its own KYC on your business.
Branding and configuration
Domain, SSL, logo, colours, legal pages, markup rules, email templates and staff accounts are set up.
Test bookings and launch
We run live test bookings for each supplier and payment method, train your team, then switch to production on your domain.
Our part of the work usually takes days. The overall timeline is set by supplier approval and gateway KYC, which vary by provider. [TO CONFIRM: typical end-to-end go-live window to promise]
Support and updates
Supplier APIs change, airlines adjust fare rules and gateways release new versions. Platform support covers these changes, security patches, hosting and monitoring, with a named contact and a defined response window. Improvements to the shared platform reach every client without a separate project. [TO CONFIRM: support hours and response time to publish]
Pricing approach
We quote a fixed setup fee and a recurring platform fee. The setup fee depends on the number of suppliers, whether you need B2B agent logins as well as B2C, and the amount of custom design. The recurring fee covers hosting, support and updates. You receive a written quote with a line-by-line breakdown. [TO CONFIRM: whether to publish starting prices]
Frequently asked questions
What is a white label flight booking website?
It is a flight search and booking website built and maintained by a technology vendor, then branded and launched for your agency on your own domain. Travellers book and pay on your site, e-tickets carry your name, and you manage markups, bookings and refunds in an admin panel. The supplier contracts and the payment gateway are yours, so the margin stays with you.
How much does a flight booking whitelabel cost?
The cost is driven by how many flight suppliers you connect, whether you need a consumer site only or agent logins as well, how much custom design you want, and the support level you choose. Expect a one-time setup fee plus a recurring platform fee for hosting, updates and support. We send a fixed written quote after a short scoping conversation.
Do I need an IATA licence to sell flights with a white label?
You need access to flight inventory, which comes either from your own accreditation (IATA or a national scheme) with a GDS contract, or, far more commonly, from a consolidator API that issues tickets on your behalf. Most agencies launching a whitelabel in India use a consolidator and do not hold IATA accreditation themselves. We are a technology vendor, not a licensing authority, so check the rules and registrations that apply in your country before you start selling.
Which flight APIs work with a white label portal?
GDS APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), Indian consolidator APIs such as TBO and Tripjack, low-cost carrier direct connects and NDC content can all be connected, subject to your own agreement with each supplier. Many agencies run a consolidator for ticketing and a second source for coverage. Our flight booking API comparison explains the trade-offs.
Can I set my own markup on fares?
Yes. Markups can be set per route, airline, cabin class, fare type, supplier or customer group, as a fixed amount or a percentage, and changed at any time from the admin panel. You can also add a separate service fee, apply promo codes and, in B2B mode, give each agent group its own markup tier.
